Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

What you enter in Aquabara never reaches us. No account, no server, no ads: your drinks, your goal and your settings are kept only on your phone.

Who makes Aquabara

Aquabara is developed by My Point Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("we" on this page). Address: DAP Royal Center Sitesi A Blok, Altayçeşme Mah. Çamlı Sok. No: 16/38, 34843 Maltepe, Istanbul, Türkiye. Email: info@mypoint.com.tr.

What the app keeps

While you use Aquabara, it keeps on your phone:

All of this stays in Aquabara's own storage on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else; we can't see it and have no access to it.

Widgets, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

For widgets and the Dynamic Island, Aquabara writes today's amount and a picture of Mochi to an area on your phone that the app shares with its widgets; this doesn't leave your phone either. Because it shows on the Lock Screen, someone looking at your phone can see how much you drank today. You can turn this off in Aquabara under Settings → "Mochi by your side all day", or by removing the widget.

Apple Health

The Apple Health connection is optional and only works if you turn it on:

Your Health data is never sent to us or anyone else, never used for advertising or marketing, and never sold. You can turn the permissions off at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps → Aquabara. Data already written stays in Health; you can delete it in the Health app.

Your phone's backups

If backups are on (iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android), Aquabara's data goes into them like any other app's, so it isn't lost when you change phones. Backups are kept in your Apple or Google account under those companies' terms; we have no access to them. Aquabara doesn't use any other cloud sync.

Permissions

Purchases

Aquabara Plus is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment; we never see your card or payment details. To check whether Plus is active, Aquabara uses the RevenueCat service. RevenueCat receives a random ID the app creates, not linked to your name or email, your purchase and subscription details (product, date, price, currency, country) and technical details such as the device type. Your drinks, goal and Health data are not sent. RevenueCat's servers are outside Türkiye; how it handles this information is described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Ads and tracking

Aquabara has no ads. It doesn't track you across apps, doesn't use your phone's advertising identifier and contains no analytics or crash reporting tools.

Sharing

When you share your day's picture, it goes to the app you choose in your phone's share menu. What you share, and with whom, is up to you.

Third parties

Apart from RevenueCat as described above, Aquabara uses no third-party services. The app is downloaded from the App Store and Google Play; their own privacy policies apply.

If you write to us

If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply to you and for nothing else. You can also write to the same address to exercise your rights under article 11 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Deleting your data

You can delete records inside the app: undo the last drink or reset the day on the home screen, and delete past days' drinks one by one from the calendar. To delete everything, remove the app from your phone. Copies may remain in earlier phone backups; you can delete those in your Apple or Google account's backup settings. Data written to Health is deleted in the Health app.

Changes

If a feature that changes how your information is handled is added to Aquabara, this page is updated before that feature is released. The date of the last update is at the top.
